Bonita Springs Elementary is excited to share donated items with their students’ families which is why they scheduled an open house event this Friday, October 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Parents will have an opportunity to visit their child’s classroom, speak with teachers and be treated to dinner and a free “shopping spree”.
Bonita Springs Elementary School has received a large donation of supplies from several schools, organizations and private citizens including the Escambia County School District, Pensacola, Patriot Elementary, Lee County, Hopewell Elementary, New Jersey, Lake Hills Stem Magnet School, Indiana, Veterans Memorial Elementary, Collier, Providence Christian Church, Cape Coral, First Baptist Church, Naples, Unity Church, Bonita, First United Methodist Church, Bonita, Convoy of Hope, Bonita Springs Community Lions Club, American Heart Association, Perkins of Bonita, Target, Bonita Grand Publix, Royal Scoop Ice Cream, Shoes that Fit and many individual donors.
The school will have tables of toiletries, cleaning supplies, games, books, toys, and clothing set up under their pavilion. Parents will be given a bag and will be able to select the items they need. Dinner will be served in the cafeteria at 6:00 p.m.
